Functional Kids Clinic is seeking career minded staff members to join our team. Functional Kids Clinic is a privately owned small clinic in the north east twin cities. We want to be the friendly and comfortable place for children with special needs and their families to find support and growth opportunities as well as answers to their questions. We know that those in the helping professions love to learn, so we have a strong system in place to gather new information and keep learning as a group of professionals.
Our outpatient setting allows the maximum amount of treatment for each child – which leads to significant progress toward their individual goals. This is rewarding for clients and therapists!
We are seeking an OTR/L with a passion for helping children, adolescents, and families. Experience and openness to a wide range of treatment modalities is required. Our intervention is highly individualized and uses a variety of treatment theories. These include; motor skills, sensory integration, oral motor, feeding, coregulation, self regulation, coordination and praxis, among others. New graduates are welcome to apply.
We regularly treat clients in the after school hours (until 6:00 pm), so this is expected of all new staff. We team with SLP’s and our PT’s frequently. We hold a strong intention of valuing and supporting families wherever they are in their process. We strive to provide an environment that feels safe to each client and assists them to progress from that safe and understood base.
Compensation is commensurate with your license and experience. Benefits include health insurance, long term disability insurance, paid time off, and continuing education reimbursement. Short Term Disability, Dental and vision available at employee cost.
